STEP 2- PRE-QUOTATION Based on the given information we will email you a price estimate or quotation. STEP 3- VISIT Once our price estimate/ quote is accepted by you we will visit you to take accurate measurements, show you fabric samples/colour options and any all your questions. ACCEPTING THE QUOTE In case you need to know our prices before our visit to see if it fits your budget, then for us based on the measurements and/or photos you’ve sent, is easy to give you an idea on pricing or even an exact quote. If you like our quote we will visit you and conduct a survey, but in case you are not satisfied with the samples or with our service you are not obliged to take your enquiry any further On our visit we will perform a survey and discuss all your requirements. We will show you physical samples of blinds, fabrics and materials to help you decide the perfect choice for your windows. Once you’ve made your decision, exact measurements will be taken. After the survey we will provide you with a final quotation. Please note, we do not charge for the measuring/quoting service. STEP 4- DEPOSIT/PAYMENT If you wish to proceed with the order a part payment deposit of 50% of the total price will be taken. Your custom-made blinds will be ready as per our Terms and Conditions. As all our blinds are made-to-measure we cannot provide you with an accurate quote over the phone. If you book an appointment with one of our advisors they will be able to measure up and provide a quote for you. During the appointment there will be no pressure to buy. The appointment will be a slot for 30 minutes. Don’t forget, our great value prices include our expert measuring fitting service, and our Price Promise means that we won’t be beaten on price for similar products. STEP 5- INSTALLATION Once your blinds are manufactured, we will contact you to confirm the fitting time and date. One of our experienced fitters will visit you to install them. When the installation is completed the fitter will explain how to correctly operate the product/s. Your fitter will maintain a safe worksite and ensure a thorough clean up at all times. All blinds will be fitted with Child Safety devices. STEP 6- FINAL PAYMENT When your blinds are fitted, the remaining balance will be required on the same day before we leave your premises and we will provide you with your receipt/invoice. We promise that if you find the same blind, in the same size and with the same specifications at a cheaper price, we will BEAT it by 10%!!

Once your made to measure blinds are manufactured, we will contact you to confirm the installation date/time. One of our fitters will visit your property to install them. When the installation is completed the fitter will explain/ show you how to correctly operate your new blinds. Your fitter will maintain a safe work site and ensure a thorough clean up is carried out before they leave your property. All blinds will be fitted with Child Safety Devices.

Term & Conditions of Sale OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU…. The following terms will apply to your purchase of any goods and/or services that you receive from us. This contract is between you and us for our supply and your purchase of goods and/or services. By entering into this contract with us, you agree with us to supply the goods and services at your premises where they are to be installed. As per our terms and conditions this is receipt of payment in full for your order and installation of your goods. We warrant that any goods supplied to you will correspond with the specifications set out by yourself during the order confirmation process of your made to measure blinds. Goods will be fit for the purpose for which they are bought for and for the purpose for which they have been designed and we warrant that the service supplied by Z&S Blinds Ltd will be performed with great skill and care. Z&S Blinds Ltd complies with BBSA’S strict guidelines regarding Child Safety and our binds are tested to ensure we meet the regulations outlined in the British & European Safety Standard Guide. SPECIFICATION OF GOODS- All our blinds will be made according to the measurements taken at your premises with you present after which you will receive a confirmation along with a quote, which you are responsible for checking and confirming back to us. If you are happy to go ahead we require a 50% deposit so we can place your order and the remaining 50% will be taken on the day your blinds are installed. For an exact colour match, we recommend you take advantage of our free sampling service on the day of your quotation. All our blinds are custom made and manufactured to your exact measurements and requested specifications, so once made they are only suitable to you and therefore cannot be returned or refunded. INSTALLATION DAY- Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to make sure the surrounding areas of where the blinds are to be installed are clear of obstructions and/or covered with suitable sheets to ensure no damage is caused to personal possessions. Z&S Ltd reserve the right to withdraw their services if the workspace provided is not suitable or not clear of obstructions upon arrival and can not take any liability of any damages if customer’s do not comply with these guidelines. Our responsibility for loss or damage suffered by you We are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking this contract or our failing to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the installation process. Also, it is your responsibility to ensure that the quality and state of the walls to which the product will be fixed is suitable. We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes misrepresentation of products including the right to receive products which are: as described and match information we provided to you and any sample seen or examined by you are of satisfactory quality & fit for any particular purpose made known to us supplied with reasonable skill and care; and for defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987. We exclude liability for any losses relating to the material used to make the products or supplied to you under the Sample Service. We rely on suppliers to provide us with the material we use. We exclude liability for any loss suffered by you as a result of any changes to the material supplied to us from time to time including without limitation any changes relating to colours, shading, names and patterns. The Consumer Rights Act 2015 says goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. During the expected lifespan of your product your legal rights entitle you to the following: Product guarantees-we offer a 12 month guarantee on all our products. Provided we are satisfied that any such products to which the 1-year guarantee applies have been properly used and meet the criteria set out on our website, we will treat the product as faulty and replace the product. Please note that fading is covered under the 12-month guarantee (with the exception of fabrics, and goods in strong sunlight). Please note you have 24 hours from the day your made to measure blinds are installed to report any issues regarding the installation. It is your duty to ensure you are satisfied with your blinds installation before the fitter leaves your premises. Any call outs/amendments after this will incur additional call-out charges. Any damage/manufacturer's faults or amendments reported/requested after your installation has been completed and signed by both parties will be attended to. Please bear in mind your first call-out will be free of charge from Z&S Blinds Ltd and any other call outs after this to report an issue that requires an expert opinion/ will incur a charge of £30 per call-out visit. Z&S Blinds Ltd complies with BBSA'S strict guidelines regarding Child Safety and our blinds are tested to ensure we meet te regulations outlined in the Britsh and European Safety Standard Guide. As part of our compliance with these regulations our blinds have a built in safety mechanism to help reduce the risk of an accident and to make sure that our blinds are out of reach of children. All chain/cords provided with our blinds are made at a maximum length of one metre. GENERAL ADVICE AND TIPS Careful operation of your blinds will ensure smooth operation and a safe environment for toddlers and infants. WARNING Young children can be strangled by loops in pull cords, chains,tapes and inner cords that operate your blinds. To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of reach of young children as they may become wrapped around a child's neck. Move beds, cots and furniture away from windows covering cords. DO NOT TIE CORDS TOGETHER! DO NOT ALLOW A CHILD TO OPERATE ANY BLIND!
